Unique Lady tries hard to keep our dresses affordable without sacrificing quality. 

Our prom dresses range from $400 - $2000.

Our bridal gowns are as low as $800 -$4000.

Try-On Policy 

When you visit our store you can try on as many dresses as you wish. All we ask is that you have on all of your undergarments when trying on the dresses. 

Same Style Prom Policy

We understand how important it is to be unique, especially during prom.  This is why we only sell one style dress per school which allows only one person from that school to purchase that style in any color and size. Please note: We are only able to control the dresses sold in our store. Due to this policy, if a dress is ordered, we will process it through our system to ensure that it hasn't already been purchased by that school. This process will take about 1-2 business days. If the gown has already been purchased by that school, this will result in the client being notified that their order will be canceled and we will assist in finding the client another gown. This is to ensure that we are honoring our "Same Style Policy" both in-store and online. 

 
Alterations 

Alterations must be accompanied with an appointment . This is mandatory. All fitting appointments for gowns receiving alterations at Unique Lady must be present with the proper shoes and undergarments that will be worn the day of the event to ensure that the alterations are being done as accurately as possible. If the client doesn't bring the proper undergarments and shoes, we will deny the appointment. However, if the customer insists, there will be an additional form to sign stating that we will not be responsible for any alterations that wasn't properly tailored to the dress per the undergarments and shoes presented by the client. 

By having these items on, our seamstresses are able to properly alter your dress to ensure the maximum comfort and fit for our clients. 

The prices that are shown online are NOT including alterations in the price of the gown. However, our in-store prices INCLUDE alterations in the price of the gown. 

Please Note: Customizing and reconstructing the dress will include additional costs to cover shipping fees, labor, and materials that will vary depending on what is being done. 

We do make custom gowns, if this is an interest of yours please call and make an appointment with one of our owners who can accommodate and guide you in making your dream prom or even bridal gown!

Appointments can be made over the phone. 

Manufacturers do have a mandatory extra size fee if needed, which is indicated when purchasing the gown. These fees will vary depending on the manufacture.  

Shopping 

Unique Lady is an authorized retailer for ALL designers on our website.  All dresses will be shipped in the original packaging with authenticity tags attached. Beware of cheap imitation dresses for much lower cost. All of our stock comes directly from the manufacturer to guarantee a genuine product for your money. We do NOT price match online pricing with in-store pricing as there are different fees that accommodate the different purchasing methods. We require that customers enter a wear-date and school information upon checkout.

Shipping 

Shipping fees will be added upon checkout depending on when the gown is needed to ensure that it arrives at your door in a timely manner. Please allow 10-14 business days for shipping, 1-3 business day shipping is available upon request and will inquire an additional charge. Please allow a 10-12 week delivery for Bridesmaids and Wedding Gowns. The shipping fees will vary depending on the manufacturers. 

Cancellations and Returns 

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. To prevent sizing problems, we recommend all customers get measured properly before ordering dresses while using the size charts provided by the companies to ensure that you are getting the proper size gown. All companies have different sizes. If the client purchases the incorrect size, our store will not be responsible nor compensate the client for this. All local customers may come in for the proper measurements. All merchandise purchased online are considered special order. There will be NO returns or exchanges. All cancellations must be made within 24 hours. We will call to confirm your order. If we are unable to reach you within 24 hours we will proceed with the order. 

Payments 

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Don’t want to pay with a credit card? We accept payments through Google Checkout, too.  Payments on in-store gowns can be taken on the phone as we do have in-store layaway options available. Contact us for more information at 248-548-1118.
